A company in India appears to have cloned the U.S. on-demand valet parking services model.
It popped up in China; now it's in India. Scarcity of parking has caught the imagination of more than a few entrepreneurs. Some are giving the very difficult and challenging world of on-demand valet parking a try.
To succeed in the on-demand valet parking business, it takes 100% commitment and absolute tenacity, because there is a lot that can go wrong. I think this is why there are not more on-demand valet parking companies in the United States right now. The logistics are difficult to manage. Keeping a workforce of motivated valet parking professionals who know precisely what they are doing is very difficult. And being able to promptly respond to the ebb and flow of requests for service—it's all very difficult and challenging, in my opinion.
This is not an easy business.
If I were to pursue this business, it would be a premium luxury service that would be expensive. Because to dive into such a difficult business, the rewards have to be there.
I see Constapark as having a huge learning curve in front of them... though things are probably a little easier when others are plowing a path ahead of you, like with Zirx and Luxe Valet in the United States.
